Vince Zampella, Has Died in an LA Vehicle Accident
The visionary game developer, the mind behind the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.
His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The influential game designer lost his life when his automobile collided and caught fire on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, those closest to him, and all those touched by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
